End of april 2021 I am (still) in Portimao, Portugal, since I am still More or less blocked by covid. Some days ago Portugal announced the end of it's lockdown per may 1st so I was Very Happy for that. However today was announced that Portimao is forced to stay in lockdown, for reasons of still having to many infected persons.
How come ??? It seems there is a group of agricultural helpers (african immigrants) living in a separated community outside town where there are more then 120 (calculated) infections per 100.000 inhabitants. Since Portimao has some 25.000 inhabitants this means there are "more then" 30 (calculated) infected persons in this town.
Now lets have a look at some realworld numbers as they are in total since the covid "pandemic" started :
Brasil
has 390.000 deceased persons at a total of 212.000.000 inhabitants which is 0,00 183%.
Portugal
has 16.694 deceased persons at a total of 10.302.674 inhabitants which is 0,00 161%
Spain
has 77.591 deceased persons at a total of 50.015.972 inhabitants which is 0,00 155%
The Netherlands
have 17.148 deceased persons at a total of 17.429.978 inhabitants which is 0,00 0983%
This makes up for the following :
Brasil has 13% more deceased then Portugal.
Portugal has 3% more deceased then Spain.
Portugal has 64% more deceased then the Netherlands.
Also (very) interesting to see is that in the Netherlands up to may there are (in 2021) 2.952 people deceased because of covid. Which is completely within the regular statistics concerning all deceases, so in non-covid years. Then "we regularly expected about some 2.690 to 3.016 deceases in this time of the year".
The extremely, very simple clou trick is that
